Princeton Health is currently searching for a Per Diem, Days, Advanced Nurse Practitioner at Princeton Medicine Physicians.


Schedule: This is a dedicated Weekend position - seeking an APN open to working every other SAT/SUN 9am to 1pm (ideally 1st and 3rd weeekend)


Position Summary: Provides continuous and comprehensive services necessary for the promotional of optimal mental health, prevention and treatment of psychiatric disorders and health maintenance, including prescription of medication and administration of psychotherapy. suffer from varied and numerous physical and behavioral, provides care to patient with co-morbities such as diabetes, heart disease, cancer, depression, grief and anxiety. Works collaboratively with physicians at Princeton Medicine.


Qualifications:


All Princeton Health employees are required to receive an annual influenza vaccine unless they are granted a medical or religious exemption.


Required:


- Advanced Nurse Practice Degree from an accredited nursing school and all of the education required to have achieved such a degree


- New Jersey Registered Nurse License


- New Jersey Advanced Nurse Practitioner License


- American Nurses Credentialing Center Certification OR American Association of Nurse Practioners


- Have or be in the process of obtaining DEA and NJ Controlled Dangerous Substances licenses


- Clinical expertise in Medication Management, Individual Psychotherapy, Group Psychotherapy, Couples Psychotherapy, Smoking Cessation, Bariatric Pre and Post Psychiatric Evaluation


- Experience in project management


- Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio)


- Strong interest in Health Information Technology and the ability to master a practice management system, electronic health record, population management software, and other reporting systems


- Ability to function independently with regards to most clinical decision making


- Clear and concise oral and written communication skills


- Demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills


- Ability to work with people. Knowledge and awareness of hospital structure, medical terminology, and coding


Preferred:


- Supervisory experience
